non-allergenic; good absorption of humidity; easily
dyed; good resistance to washing, first wash should
be made separately as this fibre does not fix colours
easily; easily creases; tends to shrink; may be attacked
by fungus. Cotton fabrics: poplin, voile, cambric,
cretonne.
