How can I arrange for a service?
By phone, e-mail, or by visiting our store in person. Either way, you can expect personalised friendly service.

What kinds of clothes are included in the package?
You may send assorted personal clothing and household linens, as long as shirts do not exceed 50% of the total number of items.

What kinds of clothes are excluded from the package?
Jackets, blazers, shirts without creases, trousers with creases, curtains, embroidered linens, bedspreads, and duvets are excluded.

How soon will the pressed clothes be delivered?
Deliveries are planned for once a week, 48 hours after pick-up.

How are the pressed clothes delivered?
Pressed clothes will be delivered folded or hanged, depending on the nature of the item.

How long do the packages last?
The limit is four weeks.

What if I exceed or do not meet the number of items in my pre-arranged package?
If you exceed the number of pieces, in the following month you can adjust the number of pieces you send in to fit your package or you can buy a larger package. If you don’t meet the number of pieces, in the following month you can adjust the number of pieces you send in to fit your package or you can buy a smaller package.
If the situation occurs again the next month, we can help you determine whether the package you have acquired is the right one to fit your needs.

On which days and at what times do you make the deliveries?
The delivery days and hours are agreed in advance between the costumer and Oficina dos Vapores.

How many pick-ups and deliveries are made weekly?
We make one weekly pick-up and, 48 hours later, the respective delivery. If the costumer so chooses, on the delivery day we can make a new pick-up, and the next delivery will occur 48 hours later.

If I can’t be home on the pick-up/delivery day, can I reschedule for another day and time?
You should warn Oficina dos Vapores in advance. In special circumstances, we can schedule another visit. You can also come to our store in person, in which case, you should bring a copy of the service sheet.

Can I drop off or pick up my clothes in person at the store?
Yes.

May I buy a shirts-only package?
Yes. We offer specific packages.

Should I buy some kind of bag or basket to send my clothes in? What about hangers?
No. Oficina dos Vapores provides you with a basket and a bag, both marked with your customer number and name. We also provide hangers if you choose not to send your own. We only ask that our customers return all this material at their earliest convenience.

When is the payment due?
When the first monthly package is purchased, payment will be due when we make our first delivery. Thereafter, payment will always be due when each monthly package begins.
