Wool
– flexible fibre; may strain, therefore should
be folded other than hanged; resistant to dirt; soft
and smooth; good thermal isolation power; resistant
to creasing; good absorption of humidity and perspiration;
looses colour when exposed to direct sunlight; tends
to form wool buds or fluff; low resistance to moths,
other insects and fungus. Wool fabrics: pied poule,
tweed, gabardine, prince of wales, crepe, knit.
