Tar-
Carefully remove the maximum amount of residues remaining
on surface by scratching with a knife. Cover the stain
with grease (Vaseline, or glycerine (1 part to 2 parts
water)) and leave to rest for a few minutes. Abundantly
wash with water and soap and, if necessary, use a scrubbing-brush.
Put talcum powder over grease stain and brush.
Tea–
Rub the stain with a white cloth or with a nail brush
with a solution of white spirit and white vinegar
(equal parts). If stain is in white cotton wash with
detergent and lemon juice and rub.
Tomato Sauce–
Place the piece in glycerine and water solution during
1 Hour. Wash in a whitening detergent.
